Call for Abstracts
Human Factors of ICT is a dynamic discipline that has the
potential to support creativity, collaboration and communication.
We welcome and encourage ideas, innovation and new perspectives
to user experience (UX), a key enabler of the information
society. At HFT, experienced researchers and practitioners
welcome those starting out in their careers, to bring forward new
ideas for discussion and debate and make a difference for future
This is a call for providing one-pager abstracts of papers or
posters, panel and workshop proposals or demos by September 30,
2013 that you are going to present at the 22nd International
Symposium in Berlin, Germany, 3-5 December, 2013. Accepted papers
will go into the Symposium Proceedings.

Submission of "one-pager" (maximum 700-word) Paper, Panel,

Notification of acceptance: 11 October 2013

The International Human Factors in Telecommunication (HFT)
Symposia, established in 1961, has become a classic event in our
field. The HFT Symposium provides an interactive forum for
academics, practitioners and policy makers to discuss the
challenges, innovations, standards and development opportunities
of digitally inclusive societies. The event strives for the best
possible user experience and accessibility of Information and
Communication Technologies (ICT), for all.
HFT organizes its 22nd Symposium, which will be hosted by the
Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute in Berlin, Germany, a trendy
incubator for researching and innovating our digital future.
This ETSI-endorsed symposium will address topics of global and
local relevance in an interactive way, related to the research,
development, collaborative processes, deployment, use and impacts
of fixed and mobile ICTs (including devices, societal and other
e-and m-services and apps).

announced at www.hft.org).
