Elaine Minacs founded her organization in 1981. After several years as
a leader in the temporary staffing business, Ms. Minacs identified
early on the potential of the call centre industry and aggressively
shifted her company's strategy to serve the customer care needs of
major North American corporations.
Since entering the outsourcing business, Elaine has skillfully grown
Minacs Worldwide into an internationally recognized organization
handling over 20 million customer contacts every year. She led her
Company's pursuit of the ISO 9001 certification, ensuring that Minacs
Worldwide became the first company of its kind to achieve the highest
quality designation. Over the years, Minacs Worldwide has received
numerous awards for its industry leadership and business success.
Elaine Minacs' entrepreneurial skills have been nationally recognized
at both the corporate and personal level, as evidenced by her
receiving the Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 1999,
Elaine and her team successfully completed a Cdn$28.5 million reverse
takeover, resulting in Minacs Worldwide's listing on the Toronto Stock
Exchange (TSE: "MXW"). Since then, Elaine Minacs has continued to take
her company to greater heights, establishing additional Minacs
locations across Canada, and in the United States and Europe. Most
recently, Elaine Minacs was ranked 4^th in Canada by PROFIT Magazine
in the prestigious Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs survey for 1999.
From revenues of $35.9 million in 1998 to revenues of $67.6 million in
1999, Minacs Worldwide continues its rapid growth and worldwide
success under the leadership of Elaine Minacs. In the past year,
Elaine has transformed Minacs from a privately held company employing
650 people in four locations, to a publicly traded company employing
1800 people across eleven international locations. Minacs Worldwide,
previously focused on serving the customer care and call centre needs
