Description: Currently research includes fundamental work and problem-oriented projects in measurement and communication areas, especially in the field: 1) very low bit-rate speech and audio coding; 2) combined system of echo cancellation and noise reduction for mobile communication systems; 3) robust speech recognition (a hybrid approach: hidden Markov models and neural nets);4) speech signal processing for cochlear prosthesis. |
