As a psycholinguist-phonetician, Brigitte Zellner Keller is involved in the study of speech prosody (intonation, rhythm, respiration, intensity) in relationship with personality features and psychosocial dimensions in communication (styles of speech, expressivity). She is currently member of the UNIGER (a gerontology research group) in order to investigate aspects of aging in speech communication. Her previous research at the LAIP in Lausanne were focused on speech prosody modelling, where she demonstrated the importance of the temporal organisation of speech. She has contributed and participated in 45 articles and 60 communications at the international level; she is also member of various international scientific committees and expert for several journals. Around one thousand copies of her doctoral dissertation have been distributed. Brigitte Zellner Keller is also involved in postgraduate teaching within the Institute of Psychology at UNIL. In addition animating the gerontology traineeships ("Pratiques de terrain"), she teaches the postgraduate course "Bases neuro- psycho- et paralinguistiques de la communication parlée", and in collaboration with Prof. Schenk, "Les maladies du vieillissement". see my web page: http://www.uniger.ch/BrigitteZellnerKeller/ |
