I am an IT professional with broad, long-term experience in software development, research and consulting for industry and the European institutions. My current focus lies in natural language processing (NLP software architectures, language understanding, question answering, multilingual information extraction, knowledge representation, knowledge management, semantic web, machine translation) and Java, XML, Linux and open source technologies.
