European Association for Lexicography (EURALEX)
8th EURALEX International Congress (EURALEX'98), 4-8 August 1998, University of
Liège, Belgium


Dear Colleagues,

I have pleasure in informing you that the list of accepted papers is now
available on the Euralex'98 web site (the registration forms, the hotel booking
forms, the first and second circulars are also available on this site (both in
English and in French):

In addition, three plenary lectures will also be given by Mrs Marie-Hélène
Corréard (formerly Oxford University Press, now Xerox Research Centre Europe,
Grenoble), Prof. Anthony P. Cowie (University of Leeds) and Dr Gregory
Grefenstette (Xerox Research Centre Europe, Grenoble).

Two pre-Euralex tutorials will also be organized (provided the organizers
receive a minimum of 15 registrations for each): one on "Creating a Bilingual
Dictionary" (Tutors: Michela Clari & Jeremy Butterfield, HarperCollins
Publishers) and one on "Preparing a Terminological Database" (Tutor: Alain
Reichling, CEC Translation Service).

Note that registrations and hotel reservations are provisional till the
organizers receive payment of the registration fee and hotel deposit. The
deadline for the receipts of the standard registration fee, optional fees and
the hotel deposit (to be sure of accommodation) is April 1, 1998.
