Project description: Simulated Speech Corpus in Car Environment

◦ Speech collected in a soundproof room was replayed through HATS (Head 
And Torso Simulator) and rerecorded, reflecting various types of uncontrolled 
noise in car environment. Speech data of 360 speakers (410 words per speaker) 
was used for rerecording. Simulated speech was collected reflecting various 
driving environment on city streets and on highways
◦ A total of 520 speakers

◦ 7 microphones and 1 handsfree
◦ Sampling and data format
 - microphones: 24,000 Hz, 16 bit Windows wave format
 - handsfree: 8,000 Hz, 16 bit Windows wave format 
◦ 4,178 phonetically rich words
