The Speech group in the Department of Psychology, University College London comprises Dr James Au-Yeung, Kazan Glenn, Professor Peter Howell and Stevie Sackin. The goal of the work is to provide an automated system that can process digital versions of stutterers speech. The software produces markers which delimit stretches of speech that are stuttered and gives a classification and overall count of the types of stuttering detected in the speech sample. |
