We are a new research laboratory of ITC-irst aimed at the
development of methods, techniques and tools for eCommerce
applications in Tourism. Our strategy is to leverage ITC-irst
expertise to foster a new generation of web enabled intelligenttools
focused on the tourism application domain. We bet on the importance of
AI techniques , such as Machine Learning, Case-Based Reasoning,
Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Representation, for the
development of successful e-Services. The first practical result will
be a personal travel assistant based onCase Based Reasoning and User
Modelling.
