The Natural Language Processing group is a new research
unit in the Computer Science Department at King's. We started with the
arrival of Shalom Lappin, Jonathan Ginzburg, and Chris Fox in the
Department in September, 2000. One of our main research interests is
the logical foundations of computational semantics. Our members have
research projects in computational semantics, implemented dialogue
interpretation and management systems, and natural language interfaces
to business management systems. We teach courses in syntax, semantics,
Prolog and natural language processing, and computational models of
dialogue.
