The Natural Interactive Systems Laboratory (NIS), part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at University of Southern Denmark, Odense University, Denmark, does fundamental and applied research in natural interactive systems including spoken language dialogue systems, multimodal and gestural systems, web-based collaborative systems, natural interactivity data handling tools, design support tools for usability engineering, and systems evaluation. NISLab emphasises the development of novel theory, concepts, methods and software tools in close interaction with the development of demonstrators of advanced practical systems. |
