Basic research activities pursued in the laboratory are aimed at: - the development of a full operational formal model of language of the "Meaning - Text" type; - the development of a multi-functional multilingual linguistic processor (ETAP). Main options of ETAP: - machine translation; - multiligual communication on the basis of an interlingua (UNL); - computer-assisted learning of lexica on the basis of lexical functions; - construction of a dependency tree-bank of Russian. |
