[With our excuses for multiple copies.] **************************************************************************************************** **************************************************************************************************** CALL FOR PAPERS RISE 2004 International Workshop on Rapid Integration of Software Engineering techniques November 26, 2004 Luxembourg, LUXEMBOURG http://rise2004.uni.lu PURPOSE RISE 2004 is an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in, and applications of, new, integrated and practical software engineering approaches that are part of a methodological framework and that apply to new and evolving applications, technologies and systems. It provides a nice opportunity to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in in the integration of complementary software engineering techniques. All papers submitted to this workshop will be peer reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality and contribution. The proceedings of the workshop will be published in the Springer Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/index.html). The Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series are published as printed books and as full-text electronic versions. RISE is supported by the European Research Consortium in Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM - http://www.ercim.org ), the FNR - Luxembourg National Research Fund (http://www.fnr.lu) and the SE2C - Software Engineering Competence Center (http://se2c.uni.lu). LOCATION RISE 2004 will be held in Luxembourg (http://www.luxembourg.co.uk/nutshell.html) at the Faculty of Sciences, Technology and Communication of the University of Luxembourg (http://www.ist.lu). SCOPE Domains of interest: in order not to consider all the scope of software engineering, the RISE workshop focuses on the following sub domains: * Software/System Architectures * Reuse * Testing * Model Transformation/Model Driven Engineering * Requirement Engineering * Lightweight formal methods * ASE tools Specific Applications Domains: the RISE workshop limits also its research to specific application domains for the problems and solutions it proposes. The application domains proposed are: * Web systems * Mobility in Communication Systems * High availability systems * Embedded systems * User Interface development Specific industry sectors will be given priority: * Financial & insurance * Telecommunications * Avionics, automotive * eGovernment PROGRAM CHAIR Guelfi Nicolas, FNR, Luxembourg INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM COMMITTEE Armstrong Joe, SICS, Sweden Arve Aagesen Finn, NTNU, Norway Bertolino Antonia, CNR-ISTI, Italy Bicarregui Juan, CCLRC, United Kingdom Bolognesi Tommaso, CNR-ISTI, Italy Born Marc, Fraunhofer FOKUS, Germany Buchs Didier, University of Geneva, Switzerland Dony Christophe, LIRMM, France Guelfi Nicolas, FNR, Luxembourg Haajanen Jyrki, VTT, Finland Issarny Valérie, INRIA, France Klint Paul, CWI, The Netherlands Moeller Eckhard, Fraunhofer FOKUS, Germany Monostori Laszlo, SZTAKI, Hungary Pimentel Ernesto, SpaRCIM, Spain Romanovsky Sacha, DCS, Newcastle, England Rosener Vincent, FNR, Luxembourg Savidis Anthony, FORTH, Greece Schieferdecker Ina, Fraunhofer FOKUS, Germany SUBMISSION OF PAPERS Foundational papers, tools papers and experience papers can be submitted via our web site at: http://rise2004.uni.lu.
