ABOUT ABERYSTWYTH Aberystwyth is a small and friendly Welsh town. It faces on to the seafront and has its own pier. The university is in the town's suburbs - it has a wonderful library, with copies of all books that are printed within the United Kingdom. The town's beach enables you to relax in deckchairs and enjoy the sunshine, further along the coast are large expanses of golden sand. The area around Aberystwyth is outstandingly beautiful, with a backcloth of hills and mountains. If you enjoy sports, games, walking, sailing and fishing, Aberystwyth and the surrounding area is a great place to visit.
