Research Activities pursued at the organisation
The aim of Tilde is to provide language technologies for the languages of the Baltic countries that would be equivalent to the support for the major languages of the world. Tilde works in new areas of NLP – syntax, semantics, machine translation, information retrieval, speech synthesis and recognition. Tilde continues work in field of electronic dictionaries by adding new languages, updating and expanding terminological dictionaries.
