Telephonetics - Making Sounds Business Sense Anthony McKay is an experienced developer within the Telephony market with over 15 years of experience. He started his career with Nortel as a software engineer working on design and development of advanced PBX systems primarily focused on the Norstar family of products. After several years of leading the development team, Anthony moved into a product-marketing role to function as the liaison between the technical development and marketing efforts for a number of products. After leaving Nortel, he started an independent consulting practice focused on software development for companies such as EuroDisney, Octel, BT and Symbionics. Specific projects included the development of an IVR Fax system for BT and development of the DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications standards) while working with Symbionics. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Electronics from Durham University. In addition, he has earned a Diploma in Marketing from the Charted Institute of Marketing. Anthony speaks at a number of call centre and voice recognition conferences. |
