Description: David Cole has been working in the field of speech
   collection and transcription for many years. While working at OGI's
   CSLU and CU's CSLR he had been been involved with all aspects of
   collection including project management, recruitment, platform and
   protocal development. He has collected speech over cellphone,landline
   phone, in-vehicle, in offices as well as kid's speech. Currently he
   and his staff have begun a company solely dedicated to transcribing
   and/or collecting speech for companies in the speech field. With Speed
   of Sound, he hopes to set the new standard of data collections and
   transcriptions by making these once overly expensive endeavors
   affordable to many companies in need of the valuable data.
