Stéphane Dupont holds a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, Belgium, in 2000. He has been a visiting researcher at IDIAP, Martigny, Switzerland in 1997. Dr Dupont has also been a post-doctoral associate at the International Computer Science Institute, Berkeley, California. He is now member of the research staff in the speech group of Multitel, a Belgian research center focusing on speech, imaging and networking technologies as well as generic signal processing. The research center is working in close collaboration with the TCTS Lab. The research interests of Stéphane Dupont include signal processing, neural networks, pattern recognition, speech technologies and computer music. He has authored/co-authored over twenty papers on these topics and has two international patent pending. Dr. Dupont is also helping in transferring the research results to commercial applications through spin-off companies. |
