DynEd is a premier developer and publisher of award-winning,
multiple-media English (and other) language learning software and services used
by teachers and trainers in schools, universities, and businesses worldwide.
PEDAGOGY BEFORE TECHNOLOGY
Founded by a team of experienced teachers, engineers, and artists in 1987,
DynEd produced the world's first language-teaching CD-ROM. We have
developed a variety of programs for international publishers, such as Oxford
University Press, Longman, Prentice Hall, and the BBC, and worked closely with
educationally-oriented technology companies, such as Apple, IBM, SONY, Toshiba,
NEC, and Lernout & Hauspie.
As reflected in our name, which stands for "Dynamic Education," DynEd's
focus is on combining the best in classroom-proven teaching methods with
state-of-the-art multimedia technology. DynEd specializes in applying the
latest technology such as speech recognition, networking, and Internet
delivery if appropriate, where it can best be used for language training
purposes. But as a company of teachers, our first priority is always to provide
sound educational content and methodology, as well as comprehensive support for
teachers.
DYNED'S EDUCATIONAL SOLUTIONS
In addition to our extensive range of multimedia courseware, DynEd offers a
wide variety of language training services, including consultation, curriculum
design, teacher training, placement and mastery testing, and custom product
development.
DynEd would be particularly pleased to talk to:
ISPs interested in DynEd's Internet solutions and in making sophisticated
language-training courseware available to their subscribers.
Educationally-oriented distributors focused on the corporate language
training, public education, and/or consumer channels in their countries.
Content holders looking for professional development of their language
training materials.
