imaxin|software is a Galician-based company set up in 1997, and is now Galiza’s leading company in the development of highly specialised products, mainly in the fields of Linguistic Engineering, Electronic Publishing, Cultural and Educational Products, Multimedia and Web Sites. We have ample experience in developing and installing computational linguistic tools for the Galician language as well as a number of other languages. Imaxin Software has been awarded the Microsoft Corporation Vendor Certificate, in acknowledgement of the excellent quality of its computational-linguistic applications in the Galician language. In other words, the Company has been chosen by Microsoft to install the Galician linguistic tools authorised by Microsoft in its Microsoft for Windows applications. With the backing of the Autonomous Government of Galiza, Imaxin Software has recently developed the Galician version of the spell check for Microsoft Office XP, Microsoft’s new office software package for its Windows operative system which includes some of the most frequently used programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Front Page. This is the first time that a linguistic tool for Galician has been included in Office, and imaxin|software is the first and only Galician company authorised by the Microsoft Corporation. |
