ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY FINAL CALL FOR ATTENDANCE HLT 2002, Human Language Technology Conference NEXT SUNDAY March 24-27, 2002 Catamaran Resort Hotel, San Diego, California **Space still available** http://hlt2002.org Human Language Technology brings together researchers in a broad spectrum of fields, all of which are working toward enabling computers to better process and use with natural language. The HLT Conference is a forum for researchers in those fields to present high-quality, cutting-edge work, and to exchange ideas and explore directions for further research. The program includes 28 papers, 34 posters, and 20 demonstrations from over 170 submissions from researchers in computer science, linguistics, engineering, psychology, etc., who are exploring methods for enabling better use of language technology. HLT 2002 will also include a special focus on Language Processing of Biological Data, including both Information Extraction of Biological Data and Language Modeling of Biological Data. The Conference will span four days, running from early Sunday afternoon through noon Wednesday. It will include peer-reviewed research presentations, posters, demonstrations, tutorials and time for discussion. The cost of registration is $425, which includes all meals during the conference.
