EDUCATION
On leaving school in 1970 entered Petersburg University of Transport,
Electrical engineering department at speciality on computers. Received
MS with honours s in 1975.
In 1984 received Candidate of Computer Science (PhD. in Computer
Science) from St.- Petersburg Electrical Engineering University.
In 1993 received A level certificate of the Walla Walla College
English Language School (USA).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1998 - Edition, encoding in SGML by designing C-conversion programs,
and configuring by SoftQuad SGML Publishing Suite text resources (21
000 000 words in German) for TELRI Association (Institut fuer Deutsche
Sprache Postfach 101621 D-68016 Mannheim, Germany). Finished in April
1998.
1998/199/2000 - member of the international conference INFOTRANS-98
drafting committee, editor, cover designer and publisher of conference
proceedings.
1997 - scientific coordinator of the proposal: "DEVELOPMENT OF
COMPUTER ASSISTED RUSSIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING SYSTEM ON THE WWW
(CARUL_W)" (Partners: Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Russicon Company,
St. Petersburg University, Confluence Multimedia Publishing, number of
registration #7032) in the second INCO COPERNICUS 1997. The proposal
is placed in reserved list to receive financial support.
1997 - member of the international conference INFOTRANS-97(Information
Technologies on the Transport) drafting committee, editor, cover
designer and publisher of conference proceedings.
1996 - 1997 - project reviewer in Computer Linguistics DGXIII,
European Commission (project GLOSSER).
1991 - to present - director and one of main programmers of Russicon
Company. Among our clients of Russicon Company are InSo International
(USA), Accent Software International Ltd. (Israel), Proximity (USA),
Franklin Electronic Publishers (USA), L&H (Belgium), Poligraphmash
(Russia), the Gosudarstvennaya Duma of Russia (Parliament) and many

1989 - to present - scientific manager and main programmer of Railway
Information System (Economic indexes of Soviet/Russian railroads)that
is used on ALL railroads of Russia.
1982 - to present - Docent (Associate Professor) Department of
Computing in St.Petersburg Transport University and the Chair of the
Software Division. The Division offers BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees, with
roughly 25, 15, and 2 students in each program, respectively.
