Description: Most of Björn Gambäck´s work has been concerned with grammars of human languages, in the contexts of machine translation, interfacing speech and language processing, automatic and semi-automatic strategies for lexical acquisition, and evaluation methodologies for language processing systems. On the grammar side, Gambäck has specialized in Swedish syntax in general and in the syntax and semantics of Swedish verb-phrases, in particular. However, he has also worked on compositional semantics for German and Japanese, as well as English syntax and semantics. |
