Description: Yuan-Fu Liao received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. de-grees from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1991, 1993, and 1998, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Depart-ment of Communication Engineering, NCTU, from January 1999 to June 1999. He has been a Researcher with Philips Research East Asia, Taiwan, since September 1999. His major research interests are Mandarin speech recognition, application of neural networks for speech processing and natural language dialog system. |
