Peter J. McGarahan
Peter "Pete" McGarahan serves as Chairman of Help Desk 2000(TM), a
division of Support Technologies, Inc. Help Desk 2000 offers the
support industry's most widely recognized support education and
certification programs. McGarahan is also the Chief Marketing Officer
for Support Technologies, Inc., the premier provider of eSupport
Knowledge Center services.
Previously, McGarahan served as the executive director of the Help
Desk Institute. Prior to joining the organization, he was the director
of Help Desk Marketing for the Vantive Corporation.
As a veteran of the technical support industry, McGarahan has over 15
years of experience in IT support, planning, design and development.
He is responsible for helping define and grow the eSupport market. As
an innovative leader, McGarahan applies practical hands-on experience
to improving and promoting the value of technical support. His passion
for excellence in customer service has helped him lead the Taco Bell
team to achieve the Help Desk Institute Team Excellence Award.
McGarahan was selected as one of the "Top 25 Professionals in the
Service Industry" by Service News magazine in 1996.
